Would you like to be involved in a hugely important campaign to raise money for defibrillators for local schools? Here at Abbey Aluminium Windows, we’re delighted to be representing friend of the company Layla who is undertaking this 100-mile running challenge.
You may have seen across your local area defibrillators are available in the event of an emergency. It’s vital that these truly life-saving tools are within easy reach, as for anyone suffering from cardiac arrest a perfect stranger can buy them enough time until the paramedics arrive in order to save their life.
Anybody can use a defibrillator, which means they should be accessible to everyone. While we hope one of our fundraised defibrillators never needs to be used, all of us here are much happier knowing that there are more available thanks to us.
How We’re Raising Money
The team at Abbey Aluminium Windows, along with Reading Trade Windows, are raising money to get more defibrillators in Reading and the surrounding areas. Layla is running 100 miles in one month. She’s done it before, and she’s going to do it all over again for this incredibly worthwhile cause!
